Who are we?

270 Degrees B.V. (“270 Degrees”) is a Tech Company specialized in web-based 3D technology.

We are located at Johann Siegerstraat 10, 1096 BH Amsterdam and are registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 86886460 and our office is at the Isaäc Asscherpad 11, 1096 BJ, Amsterdam.

Which personal data do we process?

We process the following personal data: cookies and IP addresses.

We also process personal data that you actively provide, for example in correspondence and by telephone contact. Sometimes we ask for your personal details that are relevant to the relevant situation, for example, consider sending your resume for a job application. The employees of 270 Degrees who have exclusive access to this personal data on an extra secure part of our servers are trained in carefully handling your data.

Why do we process your personal data?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• We keep various personal details of contact persons in order to perform our services as optimally as possible. This way we keep contact details in order to reach you;
• We analyze the web statistics, so that we can make the website work optimally, but also to determine which content is popular;
• Through your surfing behavior on our website, we conduct research to gain better insight into our customers. We only do this with your consent (see our Cookie Statement for this).

What rights do you have?

Under the GDPR everyone has a number of rights. We do our best to meet this as well as possible. To use your rights you can contact us via privacy@270degrees.nl or 020-3122015.

• Information and inspection: Of course, you can see which personal data we process from you. We would also like to tell you more about how and why we process this data.
• Rectification: Do you feel that we have wrong information about you? Let us know then we will adjust it.
• Oblivion: You can have the personal information about you removed. It may be that for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example) we still have to process this data.
• Restriction: If you feel that we are processing your personal data incorrectly or incorrectly, then you can also limit that processing.
• Objection: You can lodge an objection for the processing of your personal data. We will then terminate that processing as soon as possible.
• Transferability: This is a new right under the GDPR to transfer your personal data. If you want to use this, please contact us.

Retention period

We do not store personal data longer than necessary. The retention period is related to the purpose for which the data was obtained and any legal obligations.

Principles of processing

We process most of the data based on a legitimate interest: for marketing purposes and to keep you informed of news, information and events that may be of interest to you. Furthermore, we process certain data with your consent: this concerns in particular online tracking methods. Read our Cookie Statement for this.

Security

To protect your personal data, we have taken the following measures:

• Our employees’ servers and devices are equipped with current security software, such as a virus scanner, firewall and encryption.
• We only send your data via secure internet connections (TLS, formerly SSL). You can see this at the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock in the browser.
• All employees of 270 Degrees who have access to personal data are trained in carefully handling your data.

Third parties

We hire service providers for the execution of our services. These are not ‘third recipients’, but processors. For example, we work with an email service provider, a hosting provider and use Google Analytics. These parties process personal data in accordance with the assignment of 270 Degrees.

Web links

On the website of 270 Degrees there are a number of references to other websites of organizations. 270 Degrees is not responsible for the way in which those parties process personal data. You can read the privacy statement of the organization in question for this.

Amendments

We may occasionally make changes to our privacy policy. It is therefore wise to regularly review this Privacy Statement for the most current privacy policy of 270 Degrees.

Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

We place cookies in order to improve our services, to ensure that the website functions optimally and for the purposes described in our Privacy Statement. Cookies are simple small text files that are stored on the hard disk or in the memory of your device (computer / mobile / tablet). The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit. Cookies cannot damage your device or the files on it. Advertisers, intermediaries and we can use the cookies that are placed via our websites.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. These cookies are therefore placed by default and will not be deleted if you do not accept the cookies. Functional cookies ensure that you can stay logged in during your visit to the website.

Tracking cookies

With the help of a permanent tracking cookie we can recognize the device of our visitors during a new visit on our website. This way we can remember certain settings per visitor. The website can be set to your preferences with the help of cookies. Even if you have given permission for the placing of cookies, we can remember this by means of a cookie. Analytics

Through our website a cookie is placed from the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. We can use this information to improve the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We may or may not implicitly allow Google to use the obtained analytical information for other Google services.

The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is emphatically not given. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states to adhere to the Privacy Shield principle, as set out by the US Department of Commerce and agreed between the European Union and the United States. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Social

Some pages of our website may include buttons to promote web pages (“like”) or share (“tweet”) on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. These buttons work through pieces of code that come from Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn itself. Cookies are placed through this code. We have no influence on that. Please read the privacy statements of the social services used (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

Other/unforeseen cookies

Because of the way in which the internet and websites work, it may be that we do not always have insight into the cookies that third parties place via our website. This is especially the case when our web pages contain so-called ’embedded elements’, such as texts, documents, images or videos that are stored with another party, but which are displayed on, in or via our website.
